MERRILL TAN started his investment career in AR Capital in 2006 where he rose through the ranks and is currently Executive Director of Research. He has 18 years of investment research experience covering semiconductors, hardware technology, software, internet and telecommunications. After the re-launch of the AR Focus Fund in 2017, he expanded his coverage globally to include developed markets such as the US, Europe and Japan. Merrill spearheaded AR Capital’s global research efforts, strengthening our knowledge base and generating valuable insights that connect the dots across the globe.

Merrill graduated with a BSc in Commerce (Finance) and BSc in Economics from Santa Clara University, USA.
